Me, Technology and Other Catastrophes
Good Lord. I have no idea how this blogg thing works. This is a test to see if I am doing it correctly...I know, stick to wine, you say.

Uh, it's about time?
Several people just said that. Well, I have given in to the ultimate self-indulgence...a BLOG. At the mercy of those who have been asking me to do this for a very long time, I say, "Thank you for encouraging, and quite frankly, bribing me to speak through a keyboard. I hope I don't let you down!"
For those of you who have no idea who I am, my name is Nicole Daddio (really, people just call me Daddio, for obvious reasons) and about two years ago I decided to leave my very comfy job on the CSI Franchise and devote myself to my passion...wine & food. I was a square peg in the entertainment industry, always knew I was not made for it, but the lust for money and power kept me there for nearly 14 years (you may relate!) When you are working for people who make millions of dollars, that carrot can be a dangling diamond right in front of your nose. But speaking of noses, mine was always very good at sniffing out great wine and food...and NOT the Hollywood kind...the REAL kind. I had always considered dining my hobby and now I can say, my hobby is my job and really, it couldn't be more fuckin fun!
So, without further ado, I plan on sharing not only my experiences as a Sommelier at my wine bar, City Sip LA (www.citysipla.com) but also my whimsy outings around Los Angeles in search of great food and drink. Lest it be known, I do not consider myself an expert, but more an Enthusiast. My philosophy about wine tasting will also apply here....everyone has their own tastebuds, so what I may love you may hate and vice versa. It's really about sharing experiences. Stay tuned...(TV terms tend to come out, I apologize.)
